about.

I am an award-winning Director, Writer, and Creative Producer skilled in Storytelling, Video Direction, Concept & Pitch Development, and Screenwriting. With over 15 years of experience in fiction, non-fiction, and hybrid narratives, I have collaborated with VICE, OML, and other seasoned production players to develop and execute shows for some of India's leading OTT platforms, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hotstar.

Between 2018 and 2021, I served as the Director of Development for VICE Studios across Asia-Pacific. Notably, in 2022, I co-created and produced three seasons of the Netflix original true-crime docu-series "Indian Predator" and directed one of the seasons titled "Beast of Bangalore." I also developed Amazon Prime Video's 2023 series "Cinema Marte Dum Tak." In 2019, I directed the award-winning documentary "Man, Woman, #Metoo," which explores the origins of patriarchy and male entitlement in India. The film was the Grand Final Winner at the Asian Academy Creative Awards in 2020 and received four nominations at the Asian Television Awards, including one for Best Director.

My short-form direction work with comedy collective AIB has garnered over 50 million views on YouTube, and includes the critically acclaimed "Rape: It’s Your Fault," which received extensive international media coverage from outlets such as The Hollywood Reporter and Al Jazeera. It won Best Short Film at the IFF Melbourne and was featured on Mic Magazine’s list of the “20 Most Iconic Feminist Moments of 2013.” My 2010 critically acclaimed short film "Der Andher" received nominations for Best Short Film at PIFF and the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Awards.
